SUGAR PRICES

Due to failing sugar prices, this International Bank of Cuba, which has capital amounting to ten million dollars, has provisionally suspended payments. Depositors with, other banks, taking fright, have also made withdrawals. The Havana Stock Exchange has temporarily suspended' operations. "OTTAWA, 10th October. Canadian sugar refiners are appealing j to the Government to take action to guard them against the loss, in view of the difference in sugar prices in the United' States and Canada.
