Sheepskins.—The Imperial Government requisition of sheepskins definitely ceased on the 30th September. 1920. It is very necessary in the interests of sellers that all fellmongers shall he free of Government work before the resumption of auction sales, therefore, in order to give fellmongers sufficient time to clear their works an arrangement has been made between the Department of Imperial Supplies and the New Zealand Woolbrokers' Association whereby no auction sales of sheepskins will take place in New Zealand until the 14th November, 1920. The New Zealand loan and. Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report tbat at levin yards on Tuesday they offered a small entry of sheep ami n. full yarding -of cattle. Sheep were dull of sale, but there was a better demand for cattle.
