Illb to lClb, 8d to lOJd; 171b to 321b, Hid to 18d; cut and slippy, all grades, 2M to 12>d. Calf, sound, first quality, under (lib, lOd to 19,(1; 61b to Sib, 14d to 17Jd; 9!b to 101b, 13Jd to 15d. Calf, cut and slippy. 3d t0,14d; bull, stag, 2d to 7Jd; hor3e, 3s 6d to 15s. Tallow:—ln casks, 30s to sls; in tins, etc., 25s to 40s. Horse hair, 17$ dto lad. Sheepskins.—The Imperial Government requisition of sheepskins definitely ceased on the 30th September. 1920. It is very necessary in the interests of sellers that all fellmongers shall he free of Government work before the resumption of auction sales, therefore, in order to give fellmongers sufficient time to clear their works an arrangement has been made between the Department of Imperial Supplies and the New Zealand Woolbrokers' Association whereby no auction sales of sheepskins will take place in New Zealand until the 14th November, 1920. The New Zealand loan and. Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report tbat at levin yards on Tuesday they offered a small entry of sheep ami n. full yarding -of cattle. Sheep were dull of sale, but there was a better demand for cattle. (Juotations: Prime fat wethers and maiden ewes, £2 10s; forward condition cows, ,£7 15s to £8 10s; store do., £3 10s to £0; small vealers, £2 2s (id to ±'2 Cs; well grown .yearling heifers, £7 to £7 0s; small do., £2 15s^ to £4; small yearling steers, £3 Os to £i; 12-months bulls, £4 (is to £i \ 12s 6d; 18-months do., £9 to £10; dairy cows, j £10 to £17; springing hoifers, £10 10s to £20; late oalvers and in low condition heifers, £7 10s to £S; porkers, £3 5s t» £4 ss; store do., £2 15s; weaner do., 30s to 31s Cd.
