LOWELL THOMAS.

An" important J. C. Williamson attraction is announced to commence at the Opera- House on Saturday next. On that date Lowell Thomas, the famous American journalist, explorer, and world traveller, who has come halfway around the world to tell about the achievements of the_ Anzacs and their British comradea \in delivering Jerusalem and liberating the Holy Land, will make his first appearance in Wellington. His "Travelogue," known as "With the Anzacs. in Palestine and with Lawrence' in Arabia," is called "America's Tribute to British Valour." During the past two years Mr. Thomas has appeared before nearly two million people in the British Isle 3 and America. This travelogue story is said to be neither a lecture nor a motion picture show, but is "a novel combination of both the sneaking stage and the cinema screen. The success it has achieved is explained as due to Mr. Thomas's ability to telll the world something of the epic story of the achievements of "the boj's" in the Holy Land, and in a dramatic and humorous way and on an amazing background filled with historical, religious, andi romantic interest. The Wellington season is for six nights only, with a special matinee on Wednesday, 20th October. The box plans will open at the Bristol oni Wednesday morning.
