TALLOW SALES. (CNITED PRESS ABSOCIAIIOS.—COPIRIGRI.) (AUSTRALIAN - NEW ZEAMND CABLE ASSOCIATION.) LONDON, 6th October. At the tallow sales 1847 cases were offered, and 1510 sold. There was a strong demand for edible at 2s to 5s advance; others from par to Is advance. Prices realised: Mutton, 79s and 71s; beef, S7s 6d and 71s. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., has received the following cablegram from its London house under date Oth instant:—"Tallow: We quote present spot values for the following descriptions—Fine mutton, £3 18s 6d per cwt; good beef, £3 16s per cwt; mixed, £3 6s 6d. Good demand for best sorts."
