The initial meeting for the final organisation of the International Consortium to assist China financially will be held in New York on 11th October. Representatives of the United States, Britain, Japan, and France will attend it. The American group will be composed of thirty-seven banks and banking houses. The conference will consider China's total requirements, currency reform, the development of railways, and . other forms of transportation, and the possible extension of the Jukuang project.'
