SIR KEITH SMITH
VISIT PAID TO TRENTHAM,
The story of the first flight from England to Australia was told to the men in hospital at Trent-ham this morning by Sir Keith Smith, who paid a special visit to Trentham for the purpose. Sir Keith was accorded a rousing reception by the
"boys in hospital blue," and he responded by giving them a discourse in which he briefly, related the story of the great adventure of himself and his brother, and their two motor mechanics. The tale was brightly and modestly told, and was interspersed with humorous anecdoes, which produced the heartiest laughter. Australia's distinguished, airman was fully compensated for his effort by the prolonged applause which followed his address. On the motion of Captain Ualloway, Chief Vocational Training Officer. Sir Keith was accorded a hearty vote of thanks and was also heartily cheered.
