BARRY.—In loving memory of my dear brother, Patrick Barry (Paddy), who departed this life on the 6tb October, 1917. R.I.P. This day brings back to memory One who was called to rest; And those who think of him to-day Are the ones who love him best. Could I, his mother, have clasped his hand, The son I love so well, Or klosed his brow when death was near. And whispered, "My son, farewell." Inserted by his loving sister and family, E. A. DUDDING.—In loving, proud, though aad memory ot my dear husband, who was shot at Thorndon on the Cth October, 1919, in his 32nd year. He left his home in health and strength, No thought that death was near; Death gave him no time to say good-bye To one he loved co dear. He fell in his strong young manhood, A husband so kind and dear; Loved by all who knew him, A friend so kind and true. Inserted by his loving uife. EDMONDS.—In loving memory of my husband, Captain Edmonds, who died on the 6th October, 1017. We who love you sadly miss you, Though we know that God knew best, When He eased your pain and suffering, And He laid yon down to rest. You watched for me beside my bed, Now I will watch for you; And when you roach the Golden Gate, I will come and lead you through. Inserted by his loving wife. EDMONDS.—In loving memory of Captain George Edmonds, who departed this life on the 6th October, 1917. Remembrance is a golden chain That naught on earth can sever. GREEN.—In loving memory of my dear mother (Elizabeth Green), who died on the cth October, 1910; also my dear father, George Green, who passed away on the 29th October, 1899. Like the ivy, we cling to memories dear, Of the ones who were sweet, kind, and sincere; A smile, a caress, they wouid give to each one, They loved to the end—their duty was done.
