RESULTS OF SYDNEY SALE. (UNITED TRESS ASSOCIATION.—COPYRIGHT.) SYDNEY. sth October. To-day tha first Sydney wool salo since 1910 was held. Only 2540 bales were offered. The wool was mostly poor to medium selection. Although the attendance was large, and :n----eluded FTench and American buyers, competition was slow. Prices for inferior sorts were bad, and m good deal wns passed in. Greasy wool sold to 34d per lb, scoured to 50d. (Received October 0, 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, 6th October. Despite the slack bidding at the wool sales the general trend of prices was up to expectations. A little super wool was offered, and sold .it 35 to 50 per cent., good at 20 to 25 per cent., medium at pal to 10 per cent.; Hood broken pieces at 12 to 20 per cent, above appraisement levels. Burry pieces sold at 10 per cent, below appraisement levels.
