MORE BUILDING RESTRICTIONS
The opinion that the time was not opportune for the erection of big publi'o or private buildings was expressed by the Prime Minister this morning. "We shall have to impose farther checks upon building," he said. "The cost of many buildings is out of all proportion to the value we receive." Mr. Massey added that he was inclined to think, however, that they were overtaking the housing shortage by degrees; that, at least, was the impression he had derived from information placed before him from time to time. i
