LONDON, 4th September. The League of Nations announces that the committee connected with the Brussels financial conference will meet mi Paris on 18th September, to examine the principles on which the expenses of tha League should be distributed among the members. The committee will include a representative from India.

The Transit Organisation Committee of the League will meet at Barcelona in January, to deal with questions affecting international travel, with a view to eliminating tlie present inconveniences, re-establishing normal conditions, simplifying Customs formalities, and securing better regulations for obtaining passports, visas, and a reduction of fees for them. Enemy countries are invited to send representatives to the special sub-com-mittee.
