LONDON, 26th Angtst. At the London wool sales merinos were unchanged. The competition for crossbreds .continues to improve. A larger proportion is being sold. Realisations:—"Alma," 72Jd.. to 72d; "Netley Bark," 47$ d; "WGH," 27$ d. NewZealand wools: "Titi," 28 jd to 23d.
Bradford shows a more - confident tone, biit business is still small. Tops: 64's, 10M to lOSd; 56's, 64d; 50's, EOd; 46's, 32d. . "
levin and Co. have - received the: following cablegram dated London, 25th August:—"Wool sales opened; fine merinos 3d per pound, fine crossbred 2d per pound dearer; medium, "tnchanged; coarse neglected;" . ....
