NATIONAL WAR MEMORIAL
A further meeting of the National War Memorial Committee has been held, and consideration given to a new proposal for a triumphal arch. No decision was come to, as inquiries have to be made respecting sites. ■ It may easily be seen that if a memorial demands a very costly site, little may be left for the memorial itself.
