The city loan proposals were discussed at considerable length at the monthly meeting of the Kelburn Ratepayers' Association this week, and altogether did not meet with general approval from the members .of tbe 1 executive. In<fignation was expressed that a main arterial road, which has been "on tho stocks" for the past ten years, has found no place in the schedule, special mention being made of the number of hurried surveys which have been undertaken, and ont of which, up to the present time, the Kelburn. residents have derived no satisfaction. !)■ was decided to hold a meeting of the householders of tho district next Tuesday night, and invite pity couticillora to address tho meeting oj}' the proposal.
