In reference, .to, a. telegram yesterday stating that some of the West Coaet ■coal miners had decided to "go slow" as a method of forcing, the .Government to make the Taratu. and. Green Island coal companies "oose'rve the conditions of the national agreement, these companies deny that they are breaking, the agreement at present. The question 19 really . as to what was the pre-war rate of pay, and the companies concerned thought that was fixed by the Disputes Committee in, June, but, since' then the miners ;have opened..it up,,again. ....
