WAR IN ALBANIA
SERBS SEVERELY DEFEATED

Sporadic warfare has been in progress for some time between the Albanians and the Serbians, and the latter are reported ,to- have been severely defeated and to have lost two thousand meil and a number of guns. The Serbian and the Albanian Governments blame each other: An Albanian delegation in Some protested to the Italian Government agaimit the Serbian invasion of Albania on a futile pretext, and asked Italy to put an end to the advance of JugoSlav troops and thereby' prevent new troubles in the Balkans. (Received August 27, 9 a.m.) , LONDON, 26th August. The Serbian Government has sent a stongly-Worded' Note- to Albania in regard to the recent attacks on the Serbian frontier troops by bands of Albanians, with their headquarters at Riishtuktila, who are completely put >f hand, arid are preparing for a big attack on the Serbs.
