NOTE TO SIR R. TOWER.

(Itnilrßß'3 TELS6SAH.) PARIS, 25th August. A Note has been cent to Sir Reginald Tower (British High Commissioner at Danzig), in the name of the Conference of Ambassadors (the successor to the Conference of Allied Premiers), asking him to ensure the transit 'of war material through Danzig, in conformity with Poland's rights under the Treaty of Versailles. If the dockers at the port ■will not ensure the landing of cargoes for Poland, the Commissioner will have to effect the unloading by all available means and protect freedom of work.
