At the meeting of the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board this afternoon, the Health Inspectors \reported having, during the month ended 17th August, dealt with 175 cases of infectious disease, as under:—Scarlet fever, 9; diphtheria 24; tuberculosis, 14; blood poisoning, 3; C.S.M., 2; lethargic enc, 1; influenza, 8; pneumonia, 39; var., 7; inf. -paralysis, 1; measles, 67.
