35,000 PRISONERS TAKEN
(Received August 24, 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, 23rd August. ' A communique from Warsaw states that 35,000 Red troops have been taken prisoner. General Weygand declares that Poland has become the grave of three-quarters of the Red Army.
