At the :• Caledonian Hall there was a good attendance to hear the lecture by Mr. John Page, -upon the subject .of "The Feast of Bolsliazzev," as depicted by the historian of ancient history and its 'analogy to the psychic happenings of the present day. if, said the speaker, the Bible contained no other reference to the occult this instance \vnul<! bo .sufficient to demonstrate . the knowledge of the contiiijiity of life in 1 the early ages of mankind. Man cpuld not be condemned for using ( his God-given reason, otherwise he. had -better been left in ignorance. The wilting was upon tho wall to-day as plain as in thai long-distant past.
