ANTWERP, 9th August.
The thousand-metres race for tho Amateur Cycling Championship of the World at Olympia resulted : Peeters (Holland) 1, Johnson (England) 2, Ryan (England) o. There was an exciting finish, and the race was wort by a quarter of a wheel in 64 2-ssec. Halpin (Australia) was defeated ?n the semi-final, as his tyre burst.
