. ' HOME, 7th August. In the course of a debate in the Chamber of .Deputies, Signor Sforza,, discussing tjie Allied policy towards Eueaia, pointed out that what M. Clemenceau had called the barbed-wire cordon had gfven way everywhere, while the blockade gave the Bolsheviks moral advantages far more important than the material damage suffered. The communistic experiment in Russia must be allowed to take its course and prove its own strength or its inability to continue, and must not be given the honour of martyrdom. He advocated the freest relationship with Russia, and announced that an agreement had been concluded at Moscow to admit a Russian representative to Italy, and ■ an Italian representative to Russia. He hoped the Soviet Government would realise that it was to her intei'est to conclude an honourable peace with" independent Poland.' (Received August 9, 10 a.m.) GENEVA, Bth August.
