USE OF THE LABOUR VOTE

Gompers (President of the American Federation of Labour), who recently declared that the Democratic platform represents Labour's desires more thoroughly than the Republican, states that he is not recommending how delegates at largo shall vote for President, but points out that Labour's nonpartisan political campaign is the most virile movement in American political life. Labour, he says, should strive to defeat every candidate opposed to Labour's interests.
