BRITANNIA THEATRE.
The housing conditions whioh exist in some parts of this city are the subject of an interesting picture now showing at the Britannia Theatre. It is entitled "The Slums of. Wellington." "The Blindness of Divorce" is an entertaining subject.
A large and appreciative audience greeted the New Zealand Variety Entertainers at a benefit concert, held! in X Store, Ferry Wharf, on Saturday, in aid of a distressed family. An exoellenfc programme- was provided by the N.Z.V.E. Orchestra, Mr. Ritchie, Mr. C. Evans, Mrs. French. Hanna and Evans,'Muriel NichoHs, F. Andrews and! Black, Miss Maggie O'Connor, Mr. French, the Delwoods, Mr. Len. Lsbbelts, Mr. Will Summer, Edna, M'Carthy, Mr. C. Evans. Mrs. Skews accompanied the various artists. Special praise is due to the secretary, Mr. Cecil Ledbrook, and Messrs. W. Mack and F. M'Golland for their efforts to make the concert a success.
