A BUSY PORT
With ten oversea vessels berthed at the Wellington wharves, the port is particularly busy at present, and.there is evesy indication that this state of affairs will continue for some days at least. The steamers loading and discharging hero are the Ruahine, West Mahwah, Port Alma, Tara--wera, Paparoa, Raranga, Argyllshire, Arawa, Durham, and City of Winchester. The Kia Ora arrived this morning from Newcastle, but as no berth was available, she anohored in the Btream. In addition, the Sydney steamer. Ulimaroa is due at Wellington this evening, and the Kum&ra is expected to arrive to-morrow from Waitarn,. . ■ . • .
