EACH YACHT HAS TWO WINS

(REDTER'S TELEGRAM.) NEW YORK, 23rd July. The yacht race position is that the best three of five heats decides the contest. Each yacht has won two heats so far. The first heat was won by Shamrock, the second was abandoned, the third was won by Shamrock, and the fourth and fifth were won by Resolute. (JLTOTKAMAN - NSW ZEALAND CABLE ASSOCIATWN.) (Received July 26, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, 24th July. Owing to heavy weather, the final race fixed for to-day was postponed till Monday.
NEW YORK, 23rd July. Interest in the America- Cup races reached the highest point here to-night. Experts agree that both vessels . have made a good showing, and do not wish to prophesy the result of the final race.
Sir Thomas Lipton stated: "If we do not win this all-important race it won't be because we did not bring the best talent from Britain. My crew did its very best. I want to see the beat boat win, and I am very hopeful."
