"MOTHER HUBBARD."

It may be true that Mother Hubbard of old waa unable to find her poor dog even a bone, but that does not apply to the Mother Hubbard of to-day, as being shown by J. and N. Tait-Bailey and Grant's Pantomime Company at the Grand Opera House. Mother Hubbard, in the person of Mr. Barry Lupino, has such a variety of fare that he can practically guarantee to tickle any palate. With him is Mr. Jack Cannot, as old man Hubbard, and together they are irresistibly funny. But the pantomime does not rely for its success solely on these two; there are also Miss Daisy Yates as principal girl, Mr. William Has. San as the indispensable dog, Miss Dorothy Leigh as the principal boy, Miss Ethel Walker as the Fairy Queen, and a variety of specialty dancers, eccentric acrobats, and comedians. On Wednesday afternoon a matinee will be given.
