The most interesting harrier run of the sea-son is to take place at Miramar on Saturday next, when the local , har-

r.'ers will compete for the provincial championship, over a, five-mile crosscountry course, with a team's race for the Whyte-Mackay Shield. The competitoTs will be the Brooklyn Harriers (two teams), the Olympic Harriers, and possibly a. team from the Boys' Institute. With men like K. I Bell, W. Burke, and D. Todd in the Brooklyn, team; A. B. Wilson and W. Scatchard Tunning for tho Olympic, there should be an exciting finish. , The country over which the race is to take place permits nearly the whole of the last half-mile's run being witnessed from the finishing point, at the Miramar tram terminus. The present provincial cross-country champion is A. B. Wilson, while the Brooklyn Harriers are holders of the Whyte-Maokay Shield.
