THE HEMP MARKET.
The New Zealand hemp market is quiet, but firm. Supplies, however, are small, so that millers have no difficulty in disposing of the little now being produced. Merchants' prices, f.o.b. are approximately £35 per ton for good fair, £33 for high fair, arid £29 for low fair. Toy, £11 for No. 1, and £10 for.No. 2.
