ADMINISTRATION QUESTION NOT SETTLED

Replying to questions in the House of Commons, Mr. Lloyd George said it had been decided to.. transfer the Dominions Department of the Colonial Office to the Lord President of the Council. As to whether it was proposed to transfer to the Colonial Office responsibilities of the Foreign Office in regard to Palestine, Egypt, and the Sudan, and responsibilities of the India Office in regard to Mesopotamia, Central Arabia, and Aden, the Premier said no decision had been reached in the matter of the administration of mandatory territories under the Turkish Treaty.
