SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Much interest Was amused by the items given at Madame Dempster's successful concert presented to seafarers at the Sailors' Friend Society last evening. The following contributed items: —Mesdames Dempster and Henderson ; Misses Telfer, Puamsey, O'Connor, and Buckmaster; and Messrs Murphy, Dutton, Zincraft, and Dempster. Mrs. Dempster was at the piano. Mr. Moore, missiouer, wlio presided, spoke of the need of readins; .matter far voyages, and urged ihnae who could to send gifts. The competitions wcro a^ain a sohit-c of great amusemeat.
