Before Mr* P L Hollmgs, S M., at the'Magistiate's Couit yesterday afternoon, Thomas Vernon Venables, Joseph II Ashbudge, and John W Ashbridge claimed from S. O. Mayall, tramway •motorman, and Lavinia A. Collin, widow, of Petone, the sum of £23 2s 6d for commission on the eale of ? property Mr P H Putnam appeared for tho plaintiffs and Mr H F O'Leaory for the defendants. It was set out in the statement of claim that the defendant itajall, on belia'f of Mis. Collin, gave written authonty to plaintiffs in October, 1919, to sell premises in Adelaide road This it wat alleged, was confirmed by -Mio Collin joining in a contract arranged by plaintiffs for the 6*le. An oifer of £725 was obtained in.
