SIR WILLIAM BIRDWOOD
GeneraJ 'Sir_ William Birdwood is now expected in New Zealand on Wednesday next. During his stay in the Dominion, he will be the guest of the Government, which is undertaking arrangements for his tour. On Friday the distinguished General will be entertained at a. Ministerial luncheon. Sir William Birdwood will visit the South Island, and will afterwards make an extensive tour in the North Island.
