The repairs to-the'small steamer; Paeroa will probably be completed at the end of thin week, and an endeavour will 1-be made to despatch the vessel for Hokitik,a on Monday next.- i . , Richardson and Co.'s auxiliary scow 'Echo lias been purchased for the Blenheim trade by Eckford and Co. The vessel left for Blenheim early this morning in charge of Captain G. H. King, late of the Magic. Murray, Roberts, and Co. have been advised that the Canadian Exporter, the second of the Canadian Government Line of steamers to visit Wellington, is now due here on Wednesday next from Vancouver, via Australian ports. The vessel lias a part cargo to discharge, and she will then load at Wellington for Vancouver.
