CITY WORKERS THANKED.

The Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) last night 'expressed his appreciation of the splendid work done in connection with the visit of tlte Prince of Wales, and the enthusiasm of th» reception was in keeping with the best British traditions, and was a stimulus to all New Zealand to follow the highest ideals of the r-ace.
