Automatic Bakeries, Ltd., £8 8» 4d by 15th June, or undergo six days' imDrisonment. REFUND OF DEPOSIT CLAIMED. A claim for the sum of £25 by way of deposit upon a contract for the sale and purchase of a freehold property in Wellington was made by Mrs. Altnea. Lock, for whom Mr. D. M. Findlay appeared, against Miss J. K. Leahy, represented by Mr. J. Scott, and R. B. T. Richardson and Co., land agents, for whom Mr. E. P. Bunny appeared. In her claim plaintiff alleged that the contract was not proceeded with by the defendant Leahy, who was unable to perform the contract of sale, though the plaintiff was willing to complete the purchase in terms of the contract. After hearing evidence and legal argument Mr. Riddell reserved his judgment.
