Goddard having the best of the first round, ending with a .left and right to the jaw. He also boxed well in the opening of the second round, but Moran rushed in and put Goddard down, with a, right to the jaw for nine seconds. Goddard rose, but was immediately downed for eight seconds. He was nowweak, ' and Moran again brought him down with a terrific "right to the jaw. Goddard was unable to rise, and was counted out.
