BYLAW CASES
Several bylaw cases were dealt with by Mr. E. Page, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court this afternoon. J. W. E. Brodie was charged in his absence with having exceeded the speed limit along the Huttroad. . The police said he was going at 40 miles an hour. ' He was fined £3. The following wete dealt with for having alkfwed stock to wander:—Walter Hadley, fined £3 and costs 7s; Henry Hahsen, £1 and costs 7s; Albert Johns. lCs and costs 7s; Henry H. Knight, 10s and costs 7s; Harry Mumme, 30s and 7s costs; New Zealand Automatic Bakeries, Ltd., 10s and 7s costs ; George Sewby ("two charges), £2 and costs 7s on each charge; Stephen Stephens, 5s and costs 7s; Louisa Wells. 10s and costs 7s; John E. Welsby, £2 and costs 7s.
