HOMING PIGEON SOCIETY

The Wellington Homing Pigeon Society held its seventh show on Saturday night. The Maritime Cup points in races class, for cocks and hejis, drew 5n entry of 28 birds, a.nd the judges (Mr. B. Baii'y. and Mr. G. Hoare) 'found difficulty in making the award. The successful exhibitors were as follow, being .placed in the order set out:—Cocks class : G. Geary 1. J. H. Clark 2, J. Bolton 3, J. H. Clark 4, G. Geary 5, G. Wilson 6. J. Bruce 7. Hens class: (■!. Geary 1. G. Wilson 2, G. Geiuv 5. J. H. Ciarlc ".', (4. Wilson 5,' J. IT. Chirk 6, G. Wilson 7. The next show will be for ticketed birds in shows, when the judges will be, Mr. J. Elliott for cocks and Mr. All 1. Clark for hens.
