Duke Alexander,'dispose of the stories that some members of the Eoyal . family escaped. They -confirm the reports, that the Tsar died on_ 16th July, 1918, at Ekaterinburg. Neither his wife nor any child survived. The Russian law provides that the interest of his estate vests in his two surviving ■ sisters. The Grand Duchess was granted letters of admin-' istratioa.
