NAVY LEAGUE RELIEF FUND
NEW ZEALAND'S GENEROSITY (FROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) LONDON, 25th March. The annual report of the Navy League is in course of preparation, and will be- ! laid before the committee about the end !of the month. Miss V. F. Parson, the secretary, states that at one time the ■ greater portion of the Overseas relief funds were receivoS from Now Zealand, but of late tho other British Dominions have como into line, though proportionately New Zealand is still by far the most generous contributor. : Mr. R. D. Douglas Mao Lean and Mr. J. H. B. Coates are the New Zealand representatives on the committee. The educational schemo in connection with the fund aims at providing, for tho 1 needs of approximately 1000 children at [ one time for the next ten years—all being children of sailors killed or maimed in I the war.
