Rough weather prevails on the West Coast at present, and several steamers due at Greymouth and Westport have not yet been reported. The Kamo and Karamu. which left Wellington on Tuesday and "Wednesday respectively for Greymoutb, bavt not yet arrived at their destination, and the Rosamond • bound from New Plymouth to Greyraouth, put into Nelson on Thursday night for shelter. The Blackball colliers Ngahere and Ngatoro. which, left Wellington on Wednesday and Thursday respectively for Creymouth, have not yet been reported, and it is presumed that they have / been forced to shelter. PALOONA FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company advises that the Paloona was to leave Melbourne today for Klufl, Dunedin, and Wellington. The vessel should arrive at Wellington on Ist June. THE MANUKA. On her next trip to Wellington, the Union | Company's steamer Manuka is expected to I leave Sydney on Saturday next, , The Karori sailed at 1.30 for Greymouth. The Nikau sailed at 2.5 for Nelson. Owing to stormy weather, the Kapunt, bound for Patea, was forced to return to Wellington. She arrived in port at 12.5 p.m. to-day. Tho C. and B. liner Port Nicholson arrived at Wellington this morning from London, via Auckland, and berthed at the Sing's Wharf to complete discharge. She will t proceed later to Picton to load for Home. The Blackball steamer NgaVuta left' Greymouth yesterday for Port Chalmers with coal for the liner Opawa's bunkers. The New Zealand and African Company hare been advised that the Walwera arrived at Sydney at i p.m. yesterday from Wellington. The Union Company's oteamer Waihora is expected at Wellington next week from Newcastle. The Komata is to leave Westporf early tomorrow morning for Wellington. , The Mokoia will now leave Dunedin on Tuesday for Lytteiton and Wellington. She is due here on 27th May, and will sail the following day for Napier, Gisborne, Tokomaru Bay and Auckland. . The Wakatu will now arrive at Wellington from lytteiton and Kaikoura on Monday night and will, sail on the return trip on Tuesday. - Tl\?
