There I were lieavy showers throughout the early morning, but the weather had cleared when racing started. The attendance is good. Results : — ■ I Winter Oats, of 350 soys; six fur- : longs.—lncome, 6.12, 1; Kihsem, 7.1, 2; Vasilkov, 7.0, 3. All started. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time, lmin 16 3-ssec. ■ Balgownie Hack Handicap, of 200 soys; one mile and a distance. —Tame Fox, 10.4, 1; Rebuff, 2; Miss Land, 8.0, 3. Scratched : Grucelle, Achillion. Won by a head, third horse five lengths i away. Time, 2min 4sec. j Grandstand Steeples, of 500 soys; three miles.—Luke, 11.1, 1; First Line, 10.11, 2; Old 1 Mungindi, 12.0, 3. All started. Won by two lengths, third horse six lengths away. Time, smin 16 2-ssec. Rata Hack Hurdles, of 200 soys; one mile five furlongs.—Paddington. Green, I 10.8, 1; Master Boris, 9.9, 2; Banbgue, i 9.0, 3. AH started. Time, 3min 12 ' 2-ssec.
