STRAND THEATRE.
A further dip into the backblocks of Australia is given in "The Hayseeds' Backblock Show," being screened at the Strand Theatre. As this is_ the last of Beaumont Smith's great series of pictures of Australian country life—*nd incidentally, it is the funniest—patrons should not miss the opportunity of witnessing the production. "Dad Hayseed," "Mum," and all the "kids" combine splendidly to make the picture one of much; merriment. "The Round Up" is also being screened, and contains some thrilling incidents, among which are stunts by cowboys and Indians at tho great fair at Pendleton. There is also a. strong supporting programme. ;
