ELECTION OF OFFICERS. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Club was held yesterday afternoon, Mr. W. M. Page presiding. The report and balance-sheet, details of which have already been published, were adopted, special reference being made by the meeting' to the fact that no subscriptions were outstanding, which, it was felt, was a testimony both to the zeal of the secretary and treasurer, and the enthusiasm of the members.
Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follow •. President, Mr. W. M. Page; vice-presidents, Messrs. R J. Aekins and E. S. Baldwin; committee, Messrs O. M. Luke, A. J. Talbot, L. Birks, F. S. Pope, and P. Levi; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. G. .0. Sutton; hon auditor, Mr. D. E. Beaglehole.
