SYDNEY, 20th May. Cold -weather is adding to the hardships of stock-owners in the droughtstricken areas of New South Wales, as it is playing havoc with the poor-condi-tioned animals, ■which, are unable to stand the winter cold. Reports fijom some districts state that ploughing is held up awaiting rain. Unless rain falls before the end 1 of next month, there will be practically no planting.
