Anthony Patterson, aged 23 years, a farm labourer, who shot himself when in the Occidental Private Hotel the -previous day, a verdict was returned that death was caused by a. bullet wound in ; the head self-inflicted, but the evidence was not sufficient ts> show what state of mind the deceased was in at the time. Deceased is stated to have been the tallest' mas in the Dominion, his height being si:: feet eight inches.
