Veitch and ■ Glenn, M.P.'s, ■were waited on to-day by a big deputa- . tion from the South African Veterans' Association,- which asked their ■ assistance in having the benefits of the Discharged Soldiers' Settlement Act exterided to the veterans of the Boer War. It was stated that the Premier had given a ' promise in the House of Representatives that this would, be done wheir all the. returned soldiers • had been dealt ■with.
