Results :— Welcome Hurdles, of 500 soys; one mile and three-quarters.—Gaylight, 10.4. 1; Hylans, 12.2, 2; Seadown, 11.6, 3. Scratched: Sweet Tipperary, Jeannot, j Tip Up, Take Down, King Star, Jackaroo, Glensponse, Nautiboy, and Speed King. Won by four lengths. Time, 3min 15 3-ssec. Renown Steeplechase, of 750 soys, 24 miles.—Manawapango, 9.13, 1; Waimai, 11.13, 2; San Sebastian, 9.13, 3. Scratched : Crib, Arlington, Paladia, Kaupokonui. Won by ten lengths. Time, 4min 53sec. Mariborough Stakes, 0f1250 soys; one mile.—Amythas, 8.9, 1; Arrowsmith, 9.5, 2; Karo, 8.12, 3. Also started:— Right and Left. Won by two lengths. Time, lmin 40sec.
