ARRANGEMENTS OF ADMINISTRA
'HON.
Tho Under-Secretary for External Affairs, Jlr. J. D. G-ray, who leaves for Samoa by the next steamer, towards the end of the month, will be accompanied by Liout.-Colonel T. M'Oristell, of. tho Defence Ordnance Department, who is to reorganise the stores branch of the Samoan administration. It is expected that this will take about three months. Lieut.-Colonel M'Cristell will also instal tho new stores staff in their duties. The proposal is to establish a stores branch to undertake the purchase of all material, equipment, and supplies required for the various branches of the administration, such as hospitals, Government hotel, and constabulary, etc. # '
Mr. D. G.. Clark, Commissioner of Taxes, is also going to Samoa to assist in the reorganisation and classification of tho Samoan Public, Service. •
Samoa will oomo under New Zealand's administration on Ist May.
