LONDON TALLOW-SALES.
Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Wellington,'have received the following cablegram from 'their London office dattid the 17th inst.:—"The tallow market i.vvery depressed, but Plate tallow is being offered freely. We quote present value beef,. 95s per cwt, but buyers are holding oir. Prices look like going considerably lo^er unless the' demand 'revives from the Continent. The outlook is very unfavourable, especially for inferior qualities."
